Furnace housing as well as housing of separate switch box consist of a lightweight steel construction. As protection against corrosion they are coated with structure lacquer. The chosen colours blue/white give the whole furnace an attractive looking.
The furnace is made with high quality insulating refractory bricks and the door is lined with fibre modules.
The additional fibre insulation ensures a high thermal capacity at low energy consumption.
Air circulation insert
The air circulation insert is made of stainless steel 1.4841 (850°C) and 1.4301 (550°C). The heat resistant air circulation fan is installed in the furnace ceiling. The air will be blown out radially. It will be passed by through the air circulation insert on the heating spirals. (sides and back wall). The heated air will then be led in through the floor grate into the real useful chamber. Here it will be again sucked axially. (vertical air conduction). The so described high air exchange accelerates the heat transmission to the to be treated material and ensures a uniform temperature distribution.
The heating is effected through free radiant Kanthal-A-1-heating spirals (hair pins) in the grooves of the lining in the back wall and side walls.
The control unit is in a separate switching part which is connected over flexible lines with the furnace part and can be added to the furnace. The furnace will be delivered with the subsequent described controller G400:
- Two or three point controller with PID behaviour
